The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle suddenly came to a complete stop, after which the contact became aware that the parking brake had engaged independently. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The brake warning light was illuminated.
