The contact owns a 2017 Jayco Alante RV built on a 2016 Ford F53 Chassis. The contact stated that there was a design flaw, making it impossible to work on the braking system of the motorhome. While having a routine oil change at the local dealer, the contact was informed that the brake fluid reservoir could not be opened because the brake fluid reservoir was not accessible. The dashboard of the cab was placed directly on top of the brake fluid reservoir cap. The dealer was unable to remove the cap. The contact was informed by the dealer that…

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 JAYCO ALANTE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY VEERED FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. A LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED AN ALIGNMENT AND THE STEERING NEEDED TO BE ADJUSTED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 720. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
