While inspecting our recently purchased 5th wheel RV I noticed that the left front tire makes contact at times with a frame outrigger. The other three tires do not have an outrigger over them. I have contacted the local dealership, Big Sky RV who did not reply. I then contacted Jayco who pushed me to Lippert, the frame manufacturer who in turn pushed me back to Jayco claiming Jayco designed the frame. I provided pictures as requested to both but neither one appears to want to take corrective action or let know if this is a safe operating condit…

THE WIRING FOR THE ELECTRIC BRAKES WERE ROUTED OVER AND WRAPPED AROUND THE SPRINGS. THE WIRES WERE WRAPPED TIGHT ENOUGH THAT THERE WAS NO SLACK IN THE WIRING. THIS CONDITION WOULD EVENTUALLY LEAD TO THE WIRES SHORTING OUT CAUSING A FAILURE IN THE TRAILER'S BRAKING SYSTEM AND POSSIBLY TOW VEHICLE'S BRAKE CONTROLLER. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO A FACTORY REPRESENTATIVE BUT I'M NOT CONFIDENT THEY UNDERSTAND THE SAFETY IMPLICATIONS.
