THE WIRING FOR THE ELECTRIC BRAKES WERE ROUTED OVER AND WRAPPED AROUND THE SPRINGS. THE WIRES WERE WRAPPED TIGHT ENOUGH THAT THERE WAS NO SLACK IN THE WIRING. THIS CONDITION WOULD EVENTUALLY LEAD TO THE WIRES SHORTING OUT CAUSING A FAILURE IN THE TRAILER'S BRAKING SYSTEM AND POSSIBLY TOW VEHICLE'S BRAKE CONTROLLER. I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO A FACTORY REPRESENTATIVE BUT I'M NOT CONFIDENT THEY UNDERSTAND THE SAFETY IMPLICATIONS. I FOUND THIS CONDITION WHILE INSPECTING THE TRAILER FOR OUR FIRST TRIP AND HAD THE WIRING REROUTED. I DO BELIEVE THAT THI…
