Owner report 10082895 · 2004-07-28 (July 28, 2004)
THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION RANGE MODE SWITCH FAILED, CAUSING THE TRANSMISSION TO SHIFT FROM DRIVE INTO NEUTRAL AS THE VEHICLE IS IN OPERATION. I FEEL THAT THIS IS A POSSIBLE SAFETY ISSUE, AS FAILURE OF THE TRANSMISSION AS HIGHER SPEEDS IS NOT SAFE. ISUZU MOTORS OF AMERICA IS AWARE OF THIS AND HAS FAILED TO ADEQUATELY ADDRESS THE ISSUE.*AK

Owner report 10446181 · 2012-02-01 (February 1, 2012)
IN RAPID SUCCESSION I NOTICED THE FAILURE OF MY TURN SIGNALS, MY CRUISE CONTROL, MY POWER WINDOWS AND MY ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (SHIFTING FROM 1ST TO 2ND IS ROUGH). IN RESEARCHING THIS ON THE VEHICROSS. INFO FORUMS WEBSITE, I READ WHERE OTHER OWNERS HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS AND TRACED THEM TO ELECTRICAL WIRING FRAYED WHEN IT PASSED THROUGH COMPARTMENTS WITHIN THE VEHICLE. *TR

Owner report 10145127 · 2005-12-13 (December 13, 2005)
MY 1999 ISUZU VEHICROSS HAS FAULTY WINDOW REGULATORS AND TRACKS. THE PROBLEM IS GETTING WORSE. THE POWER MOTORS STRAIN TO POSITION THE WINDOWS IN THEIR "CLOSED" LOCATION. I NOW HAVE TO TAKE MY HAND OFF THE STEERING WHEEL TO ASSIST THE MOTORS IN GETTING THE WINDOWS UP. IN MY OPINION THE FAULTY POWER WINDOW HARDWARE AND DESIGN MAKES FOR A HAZARDOUS SITUATION WHILE DRIVING. I KNOW OF SEVERAL OTHERS WHO OWN THIS MAKE AND MODEL AND HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS BUT ON A MORE SEVERE SCALE REQUIRING MULTIPLE REPAIRS COSTING 100'S OF DOLLARS EACH TIM…
