THIS IS ON A 2003 IZUSU ASCENDER (DIDN'T SEE THAT VEHICLE OPTION LISTED) . I'M NOT SURE OF VIN OR ENGINE DETAILS. I'M NO CAR EXPERT. VEHICLE A FEW TIME SPORATICALLY WOULD STALL BUT RESTARTED. THIS HAPPENED OVER A PERIOD OF A FEW WEEKS. LEAD UP TO VEHICLE BEING SHUT OFF A DAYCARE THEN A FEW MINUTES LATER WOULD NOT START (DEAD). VEHICLE WOULD MAKE "TURNING OVER" SOUND IF PLACED IN NEUTRAL BUT AGAIN WOULD NOT START. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DEALER. DEALER STATED THEY NEEDED TO REPLACE IGITION SWITCH. WHILE DRIVING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, AND SOON AFTER THAT THE LOW FUEL LIGHT CAME ON AS WELL. I THEN NOTICED THAT MY GAS GAUGE DROPPED FROM QUARTER TANK TO EMPTY. I TOOK THE CAR TO MERCHANTS AUTO SERVICE AND HAD THE COMPUTER CHECKED FOR CODES AND WAS TOLD IT WAS NUMBER 463. THIS CODE REFERS TO THE FUEL LEVEL SENSOR ON THE FUEL PUMP LOCATED IN THE FUEL TANK.
