I am submitting a safety complaint regarding the driver assistance system (ProPILOT Assist) in my 2024 Infiniti QX80. The behavior of this system creates a potentially dangerous driving condition. When ProPILOT Assist is engaged, the vehicle consistently delays braking until the last possible moment, then applies sudden and aggressive braking rather than smooth deceleration. many times when I am using pro pilot assist it does not brake to point when it is inches of crashing into car in front, I manually have to apply brakes. in addition while being in full automatic mode (hands free mode) it turns off lane keeping assist completely where if the driver was not Able to make split second decisions it would collide with vehicle near it. there is no warning for pro pilot assist mode to be driven below or above a certain speed, Infiniti dealer advised it should not be used for bumper to bumper traffic or within city. but…
