Owner report 10629217 · 2014-08-28 (August 28, 2014)

WE WERE SOLD A LEMON VEHICLE FROM EVANS MOTORS LOCATED AT 112 W ST JOHN ST, GIRARD KS BY EDDIE WALSH. WE HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE NOW FOR A LITTLE OVER 1 MONTH. THE BACK BRAKES WENT OUT, THE FRONT BRAKES WENT OUT AS MY SON WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND THE BRAKE PADS WENT FLYING. THAT SAME DAY WE FOUND OUT THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS BAD AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND WOULD COST AROUND $1000 TO $3000 TO BE FIXED. EVANS MOTORS HAS YET TO EVEN ATTEMPT TO HELP FIX THIS ISSUE. THEY INFORMED US THAT WE BOUGHT THE VEHICLE AND IT IS NOW OUR PROBLEM NOT THEI…

Owner report 763303 · 2002-06-20 (June 20, 2002)

I WAS ON THE EAST BOUND RAMP MERGING INTO TRAFFIC, A 18 WHEELER (NO LOAD) SUPPOSEDLY SWERVED TO THE RIGHT TO AVOID HITTING A CAR THAT CROSSED IN FRONT OF IT. I TRIED TO AVOID THE ACCIDENT BUT COULDN'T BECAUSE THERE WAS NO PLACE TO GO (NO MEDIAN TO THE RIGHT) WHEN I NOTICED THE TRUCK HEADING TOWARDS ME, I THOUGHT I HAD GOTTEN OUT OF HIS WAY, HOWEVER, HE STATED THAT HIS WHEELS/BRAKES LOCKED CAUSING THE FRONT END OF THE TRUCK TO HIT ME DIRECTLY ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. WHEN HE HIT MY CAR, I WAS KNOCKED ACROSS THE HIGHWAY AND ENDED UP IN THE MEDIAN…

Owner report 10052333 · 2004-01-04 (January 4, 2004)

AT APPROXIMATELY 11:00 PM ON JANUARY 04, 2004 I WAS HEADING EAST BOUND ON INTERSTATE 10 AND EXITED THE FREEWAY AT THE ORANGE GROVE EXIT. AS I APPROACHED THE ORANGE GROVE INTERSECTION I PROCEEDED ON A GREEN LIGHT TO MAKE A LEFT ONTO ORANGE GROVE. TRAVELING AT A REASONABLE SPEED FOR THE INTERSECTION, I NOTICED A LOUD POP IN THE FRONT END, AND CONSEQUENTLY LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING. AT THIS TIME I WAS FORCED TO THE RIGHT AND CAME IN CONTACT PARALLEL TO A CEMENT BARRIER CAUSING MINIMAL BODY DAMAGE TO MY 2000 INFINITY G20. NO INJURIES WERE SU…
