THE BUS WAS ON THE HIGHWAY GETTING UP TO SPEED WHEN THE TRANSMISSION HAD AN ELECTRIC COMPONENT FAIL AND THAT CAUSED THE LOSS OF ENGINE POWER WITH NO THROTTLE RESPONSE. THE VEHICLE COASTED TO A STOP AND HAD NO WAY TO MOVE THE VEHICLE AT ALL. WE HAVE SISTER BUSES THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ALSO BUT IT HAS BEEN AT A PARKING LOT OR IN OUR LOT WE HAVE 5 MORE OF THESE BUSES. IF THIS HAPPENS IN AN INTERSECTION OR APPROACHING AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY THERE IS NO WAY TO MOVE THE BUS OTHER THAN A TOW TRUCK . EATON TRANSMISSION HAS A REPLACEMENT PART TO FIX T…

Owner report 11511919 · 2023-03-15 (March 15, 2023)

Why are these things happening to a supposed brand new bus. Also, my suspensio…
