THE INCIDENT IS SIMILAR TO THE ONE LISTED BELOW RELATED TO THE GL1800 THE REAR BRAKE STARTED TO SLOW DOWN THE VEHICLE WITHOUT BEING APPLIED. THE VEHICLE CAME TO A SUDDEN STOP WHEN IT REACHED BELOW 10 MPH (AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT). IT BECAME DIFFICULT TO DRIVE AND HAD TO BE TOWED BACK HOME. RIDING ON COLLIER COUNTY, FL. 951.. MOTORCYCLE SLOWED DOWN. PULLED INTO LEFT TURN LANE AND ENGINE STALLED. BIKE COMPLETELY STOPPED. REAR BRAKE HOSE EXPLODED. CAUSED BY REAR CALIPER BRAKE SEIZING AND OVERHEATING FLUID. LOST BRAKE FLUID AND MINOR FIRE.
