- I own a 2020 CR-V Hybrid LX with a Continuously Variable Transmission that has been experiencing persistent engine problems over the past few months. I have taken the vehicle to two Honda dealership service centers, but neither location has been able to identify the root cause of the issue. Currently, the car is with a Honda dealership mechanic for further inspection. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter as the issue remains unresolved despite multiple attempts. -The engine problem initially occurred while I was driving, causing …

Nothing has happened yet. I want it on record that the implementation of this feature is dangerous. The front passenger side axle seal leaking transmission fluid. This leak caused a loss of transmission fluid which, if not discovered, could have caused sudden power loss and lockup of transmission. This would no doubt have caused a collision resulting in serious injury or death. I believe Honda is aware of this defect and has yet to issue a recall.

The steering wheel sticks when I'm in a gradual turn and doesn't want to return to center. I have to pull it out of the turn. A few times, I've actually veered out of my lane. Sounds like this is a known problem with the worm gear, and the gearbox needs replacing. I have an appointment with my dealer to troubleshoot it.
