Owner report 11533764 · 2023-07-22 (July 22, 2023)

Steering wheel issue: I had a similar issue with my old 22 Civic. Now it's a known and common problem, it's hard to make small adjustments. It may not be related to the speed or the use of LKAS. There is no warning on the dashboard. Brake pedal: Randomly I feel friction on the pedal when I press it. Like the steering wheel issue it starts to happen and disappears. No warning messages. LKAS giving false warnings, especially when going backwards.

Owner report 11550104 · 2023-10-16 (October 16, 2023)

At speeds above 40 miles on the highway, the steering occasionally feels sticky or resistant, disrupting the smoothness of the drive. The best way I can explain it is this: Imagine you're driving on a straight road at a speed above 40 Miles, gradual turn with the steering wheel turned only slightly. Then, when you need to adjust it a bit more to stay on the road, it feels like there's a momentary increase in resistance, almost as if the steering briefly "sticks" and then returns to its usual firmness. It's as if the steering wheel gets stuck…

Owner report 11521297 · 2023-05-10 (May 10, 2023)

I was driving in 55 mph zone in heavy rain and car slowed down to less than 25 mph and would not accelerate over 25 mph when I pressed the gas. Dashboard lit up amber and stated “collision mitigation braking system problem..see your dealer” and lane departure problem. Car eventually accelerated but automatically decreased speed again and I was unable to accelerate after pressing gas. This happened at least 6 separate times in a 7 mile drive home. This could have easily caused an accident because visibility was low due to heavy rain and it was n…

Owner report 11539983 · 2023-08-22 (August 22, 2023)

Yesterday, temporarily, the car would not move when placed in gear. It was parked in our car port. Everything seemed to be normal until the car was placed in reverse (R). Pressure on the gas pedal produced no response. Putting the car in drive (D) also produced no response. All the settings seemed normal, no brake lock engaged etc. Powering the car off and then back on did not improve the situation until about the third attempt, when spontaneously the car resumed normal functions. The safety risk is that there are times when in an emerge…

Owner report 11570793 · 2024-02-08 (February 8, 2024)

Unknown. Per insurance company my car was deemed to be a manufacturing issue that caused and electrical fire while my vehicle was parked and turned off at work. Deemed a total loss. Fire seemed to start near the infotainment system and burned/melted the entire dash and consoles. Passenger airbag deployed and windshield shattered. Interior roof singed.

Owner report 11629557 · 2024-12-09 (December 9, 2024)

Hi, I have received 2 safety recall notices against my Honda 2023 CR-V on 3rd October & 14th October. One was for the Steering gearbox worm wheel & Other was for the improper production of the high pressure fuel pump. Since then I have visited & contacted Honda Carland Roswell numerous times but everytime I get the answer the parts are not available. It's been 2 months & they can't guarantee the availability also. When pressed further their only response is contact Honda. Is there any regulations where once the safety recall is issued it sh…

Owner report 11567291 · 2024-01-23 (January 23, 2024)

On 1/6/24 I started my 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport (5,500 miles) and every warning light on the dashboard (brakes, tires, check engine) was on. The error messages displayed said "emissions system problem, avoid heavy acceleration & high speed". It repeated this message for the power brakes, power steering, ABS, hybrid system, and all of the ADAS systems. Took to the dealer and they reset the codes and it drove normally. Problem re-occurred on 1/8/24, same symptoms. Dealer stated the wire harness for the radar camera needed to be replaced, it wa…
