Owner report 11173632 · 2019-02-01 (February 1, 2019)
I'M BARELY REACHING CLOSE TO 6000 MILES AND I'M ALREADY HEARING CLUNK SOUNDS ON MY SUSPENSIONS WHEN I SLOWLY GO INTO A DIP OR DRIVE ACROSS A BUMP, NOW SOMETIMES THE ENGINE WOULD HAVE THIS RATTLING SOUND WHEN I ACCELERATE BETWEEN 2000-3000 RPMS AND SOMETIMES WHEN I REMOVE THE PARKING BRAKE AND GO REVERSE THE BRAKING SYSTEM WOULD RANDOMLY BRAKE ON ME VIOLENTLY AND PUT IT ON PARK. I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE AT 84 MILES.

ON MY WAY BACK TO HOME IN SAN DIEGO CA IN LATE JAN 2019 THE PANEL STARTED SHOWING WARNING SIGNS LIKE BRAKE SYSTEM LIGHT ON, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL/ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION/LANE KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM (LKAS) LIGHTS ARE ALL ON SAYING FAILURE. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME FOR MY AROUND 2000 MILES ACCORD HYBRID. THE FIRST TIME IT WAS ABLE TO RESOLVE BY RE-POWER ON THE CAR BUT SECOND TIME IT WAS COMPLETELY FAILED. THEN I WENT BACK TO DEALER THE OTHER DAY AND IT TURNED OUT THE MULTIPURPOSE CAMERA DID NOT WORK PROPERLY UNDER RAIN AND LOW TEMPERATURE (IT …

BOUGHT 2018 HONDA ACCORD HYBRID NEW JULY 2018. INITIAL TANK OF GAS MPG 56! EVER SINCE MPG IN 30S. GAS ENGINE RUNS CAR 90% OF TIME! EV MOTOR RARELY COMES ON! ESSENTIALLY NOT A HYBRID! GAUGE FOR HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY ALWAYS AT (3) OUT OF (10) BARS - NEVER FULLY CHARGES! OWNER'S MANUAL SAYS LOW LITHIUM ION BATTERY CHARGE CAN SHORTEN LIFE OF LITHIUM BATTERIES! HONDA DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHERE PURCHASED SAYS, "WE DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE HYBRIDS."!!! HE SAYS "WINTER GAS" LOWERS THE GAS MILEAGE"! I SAID ITS A HYBRID, 'WINTER GAS' DOES…

Owner report 11183179 · 2019-02-28 (February 28, 2019)
SINCE THE VEHICLE REACHED APPROXIMATELY 5000 MILES, I HAD A MASSIVE SAFETY FAILURE OF THE "HONDA SENSE" SYSTEM SHUTTING DOWN, HAZARD & TURN SIGNALS INOPERATIVE, POWER LOCKS INOPERATIVE, BRAKE SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT ON, LOSS OF AUTO HEADLIGHTS AND INFORMATION SCREEN. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALRSHIP AND THEY RETRIEVED TROUBLE CODE WHICH IS A "MYSTERY CODE" THAT HONDA DOES NOT KNOW WHY ITS OCCURING .... RADAR TOLD CAR TO ACCELERATE WHEN VEHICLE WAS NOT IN MOTION U0401-92 ALONG WITH 3 OTHER CODES. DEALERSHIP SHOWED ME PRINTOUT FROM COMPUTER BUT …

Owner report 11150248 · 2018-11-09 (November 9, 2018)
THE STEERING WHEEL IS NOT A SMOOTH TRANSITION FROM 12 O'CLOCK TO 1 O'CLOCK OR TO 11 O'CLOCK. IT IS AS IF THE PAVEMENT IS UNEVEN OR AS IF THE STEERING WHEEL IS STUCK AT 12 O'CLOCK. THIS IS NOT SAFE ON THE HIGHWAY AND ESPECIALLY IN THE RAIN. IT HASN'T SNOWED YET BUT I WOULD IMAGINE IT IS GOING TO VERY DIFFICULT TO DRIVE IT SAFELY IN THE SNOW WITH THIS MAJOR ISSUE.

Owner report 11170947 · 2019-01-19 (January 19, 2019)
STEERING WHEEL STICKS AT 12 O'CLOCK, THEN FINALLY BREAKS FREE TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT AFTER APPLYING SIGNIFICANT PRESSURE. THE RESULTING JERK OF THE VEHICLE IS VERY UNSAFE ON THE HIGHWAY, AND VERY DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN STRAIGHT TRAVEL. HONDA DEALER IDENTIFIED THE STEERING GEAR BOX BINDING AND REPLACED IT. THE REPAIR RESOLVED THE ISSUED. HONDA NEEDS TO ISSUE A BULLETIN OR RECALL ON THIS FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHER OWNERS.

WHEN GOING AROUND A CORNER AND THE SWITCH FROM ELECTRIC TO GAS (HYBRID VEHICLE) OCCURS THE CAR SEEMS TO STALL AND CONSEQUENTLY LOOSES SPEED FOR A SECOND OR TWO. THIS HAPPENS WHEN STARTING FROM A STOP AND AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS.

AFTER FILLING THE FUEL TANK, A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE WAS SMELLED IN THE CAR. THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL HONDA DEALER AND AFTER 5 DAYS THEY STILL HAVEN'T FOUND THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. THEY HAVE ATTEMPTED TO DEODORIZE THE CAR EACH DAY AND VENTILATE IT USING FANS BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THE FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN CHECKED.
