I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 25MPH I HAD MY AUTO GEAR SELECTOR IN 4 GEAR, AND THE EXHAUST BRAKE WAS SET ON. WHILE SLOWING FOR A TRAFFIC LIGHT IT SEEMED AS IF THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WAS LOCKED INTO SECOND GEAR. THE EXHAUST BRAKE WAS COMING OFF AND ON IN RAPID SUCCESSION. I WAS PUSHING PRESSURE ON THE BRAKES. I SHIFTED THE AUTO GEAR SELECTOR DOWN TO 2ND AND PUSHED THE BRAKE AS HARD AS I COULD. THE TRUCK SLOWED TO LESS THAN 5MPH BUT THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NOT DISENGAGE, WHICH RESULTED IN A SLOW SPEED REAR END COLLISION. AT THE POINT OF IMPACT MY TRANS…
