CONSUMER STATED WHILE BRAKING AT SLOW SPEEDS THE VEHICLE LUNGED FORWARD. *JB AT SLOW SPEEDS (UNDER 10 MPH) THE VEHICLE'S ABS MAKES A WHINNING NOISE AND THE BRAKE PEDAL CRUNCHED TOWARDS THE FLOOR BOARD. THE VEHICLE LUNGES FORWARD AND DOESN'T STOP AT SLOW SPEEDS. THE MECHANIC NOTED THAT THE ENTIRE ABS SYSTEM LOOKED CORRODED. THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR AND LEFT FRONT WHEEL HUB WERE REPLACED, HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST. *TT CONSUMER WOULD LIKE FOR NHTSA TO LOOK INTO THIS PROBLEM AS SOMETHING MECHANICALLY WRONG WITH THE SYSTEM.*S…

THIS IS A COMMON KNOWN PROBLEM TO GM YET NO RECALL OR ASSISTANCE WITH REPAIR COSTS. PROBLEM IS KNOWN TO GM AS SHELL/GEAR WAS IMPROVED IN 2002. THIS SHOULD BE RECALLED IN MODELS WITH LESS THAN 100K AT GM EXPENSE. COSTS ABOUT 2500$ TO CONSUMER FOR REPAIRS. *TR

MY ORIGINAL BATTERY IN MY 2001 TAHOE LEAKED AND DIED AFTER TWO YEARS. I WAS INFORMED TODAY, BY MY GM DEALER (NORTH STATE CHEVY) THE LEAK DESTROYED MY WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTORS( FRONT WASHER AND REAR WASHER) AND THE CONNECTING HOSES. IT COST ME OVER $200 TO GET REPAIRED. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY ORIGINAL BATTERY IN MY 1999 YUKON AFTER JUST TWO YEARS.
