The issue started 1/24/2022 9:30pm when the car steering wheel buttons features where off and 2 warning lights on. All self driving mode assistance where off. I took the car to Nashua Hyundai 140 Daniel Webster Hwy, Nashua, NH 03060 tel 603- 888- 8080, i believe was the week of the 31, and they ordered the 3 parts. The contact's father-in-law owned a 2022 Genesis GV70. The contact stated while the driver was driving at an undisclosed speed during rainy weather conditions, the driver crashed into a Ford Fusion at an unknown location and there was a third vehicle impacted that crashed into a wall. We (wife and I) are the owner of a 2022 Genesis GV70. The vehicle has had multiple dangerous incidents affecting steering and driver control. Most recent event (dated 9/11/25): While driving at ~30 mph on city streets, an alarm sounded, the steering suddenly became very stiff, and the word “Emergency” appeared on the dashboard. The vehicle has experienced a pattern of recurring electrical failures beginning shortly after purchase, involving driver door controls (window, lock, mirror, and interior lighting functions), which have required four separate repair attempts over approximately three years, including replacement of a door module, a wiring harness, and a door switch assembly. Catastrophic failure of a brand new 2023 Genesis GV 70 on 6/6/23. The GV70 was purchased on 4/29/23 with 22 miles. It was not driven between 5/12/23 and 5/26/23 while I was out of the country. On the evening on 6/6/23 as I was merging onto the northbound lanes of the Baltimore Washington Parkway from I-295 DC, the vehicle violently shook, burning smell, and then shut off completely, including the steering column.
