On [XXX], the vehicle was started and there were no brakes, the pedal went down to the floor. The car was turned off, restarted and again there were no brakes. The third time the car was restarted, the pedal went to the floor and then the brake pedal came back up with pressure in the brake lines. The vehicle displayed the warning "check brake system". The car was not driven. The next day, [XXX], a wrecker arrived to tow the car to Bergstrom Genesis, the car was started and again had no brakes. We were told that it was software problem and …

When stopped at a stoplight with my foot on the brake and the transmission in drive (D), after 15-30 seconds, the transmission shifts into park and the engine starts. (the autostart was in the default position). This has occurred repeatedly. The the autostart button is pressed and the light is on, the transmission reacts normally. The contact owns a 2026 Genesis GV70. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35-40 MPH after charging the vehicle, an unknown warning light was illuminated. The vehicle automatically called Genesis Connected Services, which advised the contact to tow the vehicle to the dealer for a diagnostic test. The contact was able to drive to the residence. The Mobile App displayed Diagnostic Trouble Codes: P1AA700 and P1AAF00 for the electric battery management system. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was determined that the bat…

while driving the vehicle, the driver's seat moves to the furthest position, away from the steering wheel and pedals. The memory position or forward/back control does not work consistently to put the seat in a more comfortable seating position. This is a random occurrence that can happen several times a day everyday or once or twice every other month. It is unsafe during taking off from a light, as the seat moves back I can barely reach the accelerator. During braking, it's harder to apply pressure to the brake pedal. Also, my mirrors are …

While driving at 35mph on a straight section of road the warning sounded, the display said "steering wheel locked" and I could not turn the steering wheel for about 5 seconds, then it returned to normal operation. We bought the car new in July 2025. I found numerous posts on line describing similar or worse experiences. The dealership performed tests and could not determine a cause.

Without any warning, on March 15, 2026, I turned out of a parking lot onto a major road and I noticed it wouldn't accelerate above 20 mph, so I pulled off the road. I tried again and my vehicle still failed to accelerate. And on my third attempt, my vehicle decelerated and was about to completely stall. I managed to turn into a parking lot and avoid getting rear ended. However, this could have been a fatal event.
