Engine stalled when stopped at a traffic light. There was heavy traffic in front and to the rear of my vehicle. I was in the far right lane. It was 102 degrees outside. I was able to restart the vehicle about two minutes after the initial stall. I was then able to drive the vehicle to my home where it was then towed to the nearest Genesis dealer. No warning lights. Dealer stated no error codes were found and they could not duplicate the problem. After pushing for a solution they stated they will replace the fuel pump. Seems to be an ongoing, ex…

The contact owns a 2019 Genesis G70. The contact stated that while driving at 60 MPH, the vehicle briefly jerked, after which the vehicle inadvertently lost motive power. The contact was able to pull to the shoulder of the roadway, where the vehicle was able to restart but continued to experience significantly reduced motive power. No warning lights were illuminated. Hi, I’m an Automotive technician writing on behalf of my Girlfriend. She drives a 2019 Genesis G70 2.0T. Her High pressure fuel pump failed Diagnosed by me. Throwing the Code P0088 which is a too high pressure in fuel rail system code. She was driving to work in the morning about last week and was on the highway when the car completely lost power and would not move at all on the Highway she takes to work.
