There was a fire in our Aquahot system that melted a relay, burned through wires, and has led to ongoing problems with the Aquahot for the past 4 years. The first repair facility indicated that the Aquahot was installed with the hot water connection directly over one of the relays. When this connection leaked, it leaked directly onto the relay, which was unshielded in any way.
