Reported: 2018-01-15 (January 15, 2018) · Model years: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2004-2019 U270, U295, U320, Nimbus, Phenix, Realm, and ih-45 motorhomes. These vehicles are equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers that may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Consequence: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Foretravel will notify owners, and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on February 6, 2018. 17V098000 · Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Pedals And Linkages

Reported: 2017-02-14 (February 14, 2017) · Model years: 2015, 2016, 2017

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Realm motorhomes. The brake pedal movement may be restricted in the pedal box, possibly preventing full brake application.

Consequence: A reduction in braking ability may increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Foretravel will notify owners, and dealers will reposition or modify the pedal box to allow the proper brake pedal travel, free of charge. The recall began on March 22, 2017. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.

18V349000 · Seats

Reported: 2018-05-29 (May 29, 2018) · Model years: 2017, 2018

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Foretravel iH45 and Realm motorcoaches. The passenger seat base assembly may not be adequately secured.

Consequence: In the event of a crash, the passenger seat base may move, increasing the risk of occupant injury.

Remedy: Foretravel will notify owners, and dealers will install any missing bolts, free of charge. The recall began June 15, 2018. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.

19V893000 · Service Brakes

Reported: 2019-12-16 (December 16, 2019) · Model years: 2020

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2020 Realm and iH45 vehicles built on a Spartan chassis. The brake relay valve may have an air flow restriction, which may result in an extended stopping distance. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

Consequence: An increase in stopping distance increases the risk of crash.

Remedy: Foretravel will notify owners, and Spartan dealers will inspect and replace the valves, free of charge. The recall began December 16, 2019. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.

21V788000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer | Structure

Reported: 2021-10-09 (October 9, 2021) · Model years: 2020, 2021, 2022

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2020-2022 iH-45, Realm FS605, Realm FS450, and iC-37 recreational vehicles equipped with Hehr 6400 Series windows. The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.

Consequence: Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-9556226.

25V813000 · Seats

Reported: 2025-11-24 (November 24, 2025) · Model years: 2020, 2021, 2022

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Realm and 2022 Realm 450 vehicles. The pedestal mounting plate may have been improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these seat assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Consequence: A loose or detached seat assembly may not restrain the occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect for a missing weld and replace the pedestal seat as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2025. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.

23V349000 · Electrical System

Reported: 2023-05-17 (May 17, 2023) · Model years: 2022, 2023, 2026

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Realm, Realm Presidential, and FS450 motorhomes. The vehicle control module (ICM) may have a software error, which can cause a loss of drive power or disable other safety systems, such as the headlights or windshield wipers.

Consequence: The loss of drive power, headlights, or windshield wipers can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will reprogram the vehicle control module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 3, 2023. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.

24V101000 · Steering

Reported: 2024-02-09 (February 9, 2024) · Model years: 2023

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2023 Realm FS605 and Realm Presidential FS605P vehicles. The steering gear may have foreign material inside the gear that could build pressure within the system, resulting in a loss of power steering assist.

Consequence: A sudden loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Foretravel will work with the chassis manufacturer, Shyft Group to replace the steering gears, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 12, 2024. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.

26V486000 · Exterior Lighting:Brake Lights

Reported: 2026-07-27 (July 27, 2026) · Model years: 2025, 2026

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2025-2027 Realm Presidential and 2025-2026 Realm motorcoaches. The exterior brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence: Brake lights that remain on may fail to alert other vehicles of the driver's intention, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Foretravel will work with Shyft to replace the pressure switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 28, 2026. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.

26V464000 · Electrical System

Reported: 2026-07-17 (July 17, 2026) · Model years: 2027

Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2027 Realm Presidential Motorcoaches. The printed circuit board in the MaxxAir Fan assembly may fail during certain operations and overheat.

Consequence: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 27, 2026. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.
