Reported: 2023-03-24 (March 24, 2023) · Model years: 2023

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023 Forest River Pause Travel trailers. The breakaway switch may be incorrectly wired and cause the battery to not charge, resulting in no power to the breakaway switch.

Consequence: A breakaway switch that does not have power will not activate the trailer brakes, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will rewire the breakaway switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 3, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-327-2681. Forest River's number for this recall is 426-1613.

23V202000 · Service Brakes | Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer

Reported: 2023-03-24 (March 24, 2023) · Model years: 2023

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023 Pause travel trailers. The brake wire was routed incorrectly through the suspension, which may result in a pinched wire.

Consequence: A pinched brake wire may cause the brakes to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect the wire, and rewire or reroute as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 3, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-327-2681. Forest River's number for this recall is 426-1615.

Reported: 2023-08-07 (August 7, 2023) · Model years: 2023

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023 Forest River Pause travel trailers. The awning may not be adequately secured, which can cause the awning to detach.

Consequence: An awning that detaches increases the risk of injury or crash.

Remedy: Dealers will reinstall the awning brackets on the roof, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 16, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-327-2681. Forest River's number for this recall is 426-1662.

Reported: 2025-04-14 (April 14, 2025) · Model years: 2025

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Coachmen Catalina, Forest River Aurora, Cascade, Cedar Creek, Cherokee, Sandpiper, Sierra, 2025 Campsite Reserve, Impression, Pause, Puma, Sabre, Salem, Vengeance, and Wildwood fifth wheel and travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.

Consequence: Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025. Reported: 2026-07-23 (July 23, 2026) · Model years: 2026, 2027

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Pause travel trailers, and OG Luxury Coach recreational vehicles, equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.

Consequence: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in August 18, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-2077.
