BRAKES, ABS SYSTEM IS TERRIBLE, I HAVE NEVER OWNED A WORSE VECH. BRAKES PULSATE, BROUGHT IN TO HAVE FIXED, STILL DID NOT WORK, REPLACED ALL BRAKES, STILL PULSATE AND YOU KEEP GOING, GOT WORSE EVEN ON DRY ROADS AND WAS TOLD ABS HAS A PROBLEM AND FORD HAS NOT RECALLED YET. THEY PULLED THE ABS FUSE AND I HAVE BRAKES. THIS IS A DANGEROUS VECH. YOU CAN NOT STOP IMEDIATELY. I HAVE GONE HALF WAY THROUGH STOP SIGNS AND HAD TO DRIVE RIGHT OR LEFT TO AVOID VECH AHEAD SEVERAL TIMES. I HAD TO REPLACE CRACKED HEAD ALSO IN THIS VECH A COUPLE MONTHS AGO. PLAT…

NY CRASH W/ 20 DEAD. MY 2000 FORD PICKUP HAD 2 BRAKE LINE FAILURES SO FAR. INSPECTION SHOWS 1 MORE SOON. LAST 3-4 INCHES OF BRAKE LINE COMING OUT OF CHASSIS NOT PROTECTED BY A HARNESS AND EXTREMELY CORRODED. ME LUCKY FAILURES WERE IN DRIVEWAY. FWD TO NY POLICE.

THE RIGHT REAR LEAF SPRING MOUNTING WAS MOUNTED INCORRECTLY BY THE MANUFACTURET. THE MOUNT MEASURES FARTHER BACK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE THAN THE DRIVERS SIDE, THUS COCKING THE REAR AXLE TO THE RIGHT CAUSING THE TRUCK TO RIDE CROOKED DOWN THE ROAD. CURRENTLY THE TRUCK IS SCEDULED FOR SERVICE ON 2/14/2001 TO HAVE THE REAR PINON SEAL REPLACED FOR THE THIRD TIME AS IT CONTINUALLY BLOWS OUT DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE PRESSURE. ADDITIONALLY, A TRANSMISSION LEAK WAS DISCOVERED AND REQUIRED THE REPLACEMENT OF THE EXTENTION HOUSEING. FORD WAS ADVISED OF THIS P…

WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED ,YOU CANNOT TURN STEERING WHEEL. THIS HAPPENS AT LOW SPEEDS AND OR SITTING STILL.IT IS AREAL PROBLEM WHEN TRYING TO MOVE ON A INCLINE AND USE BRAKES TO HOLD TRUCK WHILE TRYING TO TURN STEERING WHEEL.
