TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD LCF. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH ON NORMAL ROAD CONDITIONS, THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS BEFORE THE ENGINE RESTARTED. THE WARNING INDICATORS WERE NOT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND THEY STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO THE FUEL SYSTEM. THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP AND FUEL INJECTORS UNDER THE WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE AUTHORIZED DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE …

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD LCF L55. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND CAUSED THE CONTACT TO PULL OVER. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESTART AND WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FUEL PUMP, FILTER, AND TANK WERE DEFECTIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED ON THREE MORE OCCASIONS DUE TO THE SAME FAILURE OVER THE PAST YEAR. AFTER THE MOST RECENT FAILURE, THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WERE NO LONGER LIABLE FOR THE REPAIRS BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY. T…

TL*THE CONTACT RENTED A 2007 FORD LCF 450 SERIES U-HAUL. WHILE PARKED ON AN INCLINE WITH THE PARKING BRAKE APPLIED, THE VEHICLE SLIPPED OUT OF GEAR AND ROLLED BACKWARDS. THE CONTACT PARKED THE VEHICLE AGAIN TO MAKE SURE THAT IT HAD ACTUALLY BEEN IN PARK WITH THE PARKING BRAKE APPLIED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT SURE OF THE YEAR OF THE U-HAUL, BUT WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS NEW. U-HAUL BOUGHT TWO 4'6 BLOCKS AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO USE THEM TO STOP THE VEHICLE FROM MOVING. NO OTHER VEHICLE INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE.
