SERPENTINE BELT DETACHES FROM TENSION PULLEY AND/OR IDLER PULLEY. DETACHED BELT CAUSES DAMAGE TO TRANSMISSION COOLER LINES, RADIATOR LINES, AND BREAKS IDLER PULLEY FROM BRACKET. CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER, PUSH ROD PLASTIC EXTENSION FRACTURED AND BROKE WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO BE SHIFTED OUT OF GEAR AND WAS UNABLE TO STOP FORWARD MOTION UNTIL THE ENGINE WAS STOPPED. WITH FURTHER INSPECTION OF THE COMPONENT I WAS ABLE TO DETERMINE THAT WEAR AND LUBRICATIONS WILL CAUSE THIS FAILURE. AN ENTIRE ALL METAL UNIT SHOULD REPLACE THIS COMPONENT. VEHICLE WAS AT 150,000 MILES WHEN FAILURE OCCURRED.*JB
