Driving down a busy highway and my truck starts lurching and losing power and then just dies in the road. I had to wait a few minutes and the truck would start up. There were no warnings or lights initially. This happened three times. After the third time it would no longer start, and a solid check engine light appeared after the third time. Loss of power windows,loss of A/C and heat,loss of turn signals,loss of radio,and loss of head lights. As well as engine not shutting off after key is pulled out. The first initial problems arose a year ago, not long after purchasing a 2022 Ford f250 superduty. The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-250. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 MPH the transmission would downshift. The transmission warning light illuminated the instrument panel. The contact stated the installation on the vehicle fell on the draft shaft and caught on fire and melted. The fire and smoke were on the rear of the vehicle. The fire was extinguished by the contact. The dash light says " trailer not connected when the trailer is connected. When using the sponge brake inside for the electric trailer bracks. It comes up saying trailer wiring fault. The trailer has been to a shop to ensure the wiring and plug end are good. Other trailers have the same issue when hooked to this truck.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-250. The contact stated that the taillights of the vehicle were not illuminating as needed. The contact inspected the taillight assemblies and noticed that the housing of taillights was cracked, causing water to enter the assembly, creating an electrical shortage of the taillights. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the vehicle was out of warranty. This vehicle was delivered in July 2022. Shortly after receiving it the steering controls and horn were not always working. I then noticed a clicking sound in the steering wheel. In Sept 2022 My local Ford dealer said they replaced the clock spring, but two days to a week after the replacement, the same issue started again. A Ford technician is going to look at this again on Friday 2/3/23.

Problem 1: The F250 has the Pro Trailer Backup option will electronic torque overlay steering. The truck wanders when going straight and the steering feels disconnected driving through curves. Both conditions occur at 45+ MPH. Truck alignment was checked three times. Each time alignment was in spec. No engine light or fault codes with electronic torque overlay steering.
