ON AUGUST 28, 2015 MY MOTORHOME, BUILT ON A FORD F53 CHASSIS, SPUTTERED TO A HALT ON A BUSY FREEWAY DUE TO A FAILING OVERHEATED FUEL PUMP. THE FORD PART NUMBER FOR THIS FAILED PUMP IS F6PU9H307DB. MY FUEL PUMP, WHICH I HAD REPLACED ONLY THREE YEARS EARLIER ON JULY 10, 2010 FOR THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM, HAD ONLY 750 MILES OF USE ON IT. THE REPLACEMENT PUMP'S OVERHEATING FAILURE HAD AGAIN ENDANGERED MYSELF, AND EVERYONE TRAVELING IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA. MY MOTORHOME'S GVWR IS 17,000 POUNDS.
