TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FLEETWOOD FIESTA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE CALIPERS WERE OVERHEATING AND CAUSED THE BRAKES TO SLIP. THE CONTACT HAD TO PULL THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OVERNIGHT AND THEN SLOWLY DRIVE HOME. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FLEETWOOD FIESTA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT BRAKES OVERHEATED, FAILED, AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 29,000.

I OWN A 2002 FLEETWOOD FIESTA CLASS A MOTORHOME THAT RIDES ON A FORD CHASSIS. TWICE NOW WHEN DRIVING OVER ROUGH ROADS IN THE CALIFORNIA COAST, I HAVE COME CLOSE TO LOOSING CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE DO TO STEERING SHIMMY. THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER WHERE PURCHASED AND THREE FORD DEALERSHIPS. THEY ALL SAY THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE AND HAVEN'T HEARD OF SUCH A COMPLAINT BEFORE. SINCE THEN I HAVE SPOKEN TO OTHER RV OWNERS AND F450 & F550 TRUCK OWNERS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME. EACH RECEIVE THE SAME RESPONSE FROM DEALERSHIPS. …
