TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1992 EAGLE TALON. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL NOTICE REGARDING THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. SHE NOTIFIED THE DEALER AND THEY CONFIRMED THAT HER VIN WAS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL, HOWEVER, THEY WOULD NOT PERFORM THE REPAIR. THEY STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TOO OLD AND WAS NO LONGER A FORD PRODUCT. THREE WEEKS AFTER SHE LEARNED OF THE RECALL, THE VEHICLE HAD 151,000 MILES. WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A CLUNKING NOISE AND THE REAR ENGINE LOCKED UP. THE TRANSFER CASE CAUSED THE ENGINE TO STALL. THE VEHIC…
