The contact owns a 2022 Dutchmen Coleman Lantern RV. The contact stated that while his wife and niece were sleeping, the smoke alarm detector engaged. The vehicle occupants then noticed that the RV was on fire and immediately exited the RV. Other campers and the camping site workers extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher. The contact stated that the A/C vents had burnt. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but the contact's request to trade the vehicle in was denied.
