I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE IN THE RIGHT HAND LANE, SLOWING DOWN DUE TO SIGN THAT SHOWED UNEVEN PAVEMENT, DROVE ONTO THE BRIDGE, DRIVING OVER THE UNEVEN PAVEMENT AND APPARENTLY, THE CAMPER SPARE TIRE AND THE MOUNTING BRACKET HOLDING THE SPARE TIRE CAME OFF THE CAMPER. AFTER LOOKING IN MY REAR VIEW MIRROR TO SEE IF THE CAMPER HAD STAYED ON THE HITCH, I OBSERVED THE CARS BEHIND ME WERE SWERVING AND SLAMMING ON THEIR BRAKES. I TOLD MY HUSBAND TO CALL 911 AS THERE MUST HAVE BEEN AN ACCIDENT BEHIND ME BECAUSE NOW THERE WAS NO TRAFFIC COMING.…

WHILE DRIVING OUR DUTCH STAR MOTORHOME ON NORTHBOUND HIGHWAY 101 AT 55 MPH IN THE LOS ANGELES CA. AREA AND IN THE FAR RIGHT LANE OF THE 4 LANE FREEWAY, THE COACH SUDDENLY VEERED SHARPLY TO THE LEFT AND I HAD NO STEERING CONTROL AT ALL. THERE WAS A VERY LOUD SCREECHING ROARING NOISE COMING FROM THE LEFT FRONT TIRE AS THE COACH INSTANTLY CROSSED ALL OF THE REMAINING 3 LANES OF HEAVY TRAFFIC AND IMPACTED THE CONCRETE CENTER DIVIDER AT FREEWAY SPEED AND AT APPROXIMATELY A 45 DEGREE ANGLE TO THE LANES OF TRAFFIC.
