TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DUCATI XDIAVEL. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A STOP, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE BOLT THAT HELD THE SPRING TO THE SIDE STAND DETACHED AND CAUSED THE ENGINE TO STALL. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V812000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,700.

AFTER 6 MONTHS OF PURCHASE MY MOTORCYCLE REAR BRAKE WAS UNUSABLE. THIS HAPPENED 3 MORE TIMES. THE LAST TIME IT WAS SITTING IN MY GARAGE FOR A MONTH AND THE REAR BRAKE WENT COMPLETELY AWAY. FINALLY THEY REPLACED THE REAR BRAKE CYLINDER. WEBSITE HAS A MULTITUDE OF SIMILAR PROBLEMS. ALSO FRONT FORKS LEAKS PREMATURELY WHAT CAN CAUSE STEERING SAFETY HAZARD. ALSO A PREVAILING PROBLEM WITH DUCATI MOTORCYLES DESPITE THEIR CLAIM THEY USE PREMIER COMPONENTS. (MY BMW BIKES DON'T HAVE THESE PROBLEMS.) ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT DUCATI UNDER T…
