THE MOTORCYCLE HAS STALLED FOUR TIMES IN THE LAST 5 MONTHS. TYPICALLY STALLS WHEN DOWN-SHIFTING. THE LAST TIME IT STALLED, I WAS WEAVING THROUGH TRAFFIC AND WHEN THE BIKE STALLED, THERE WAS A CAR RIGHT ON MY REAR (SCARED ME TO DEATH) - LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO STEER INTO THE MEDIAN (AND THERE WAS NO OBSTACLES IN THE MEDIAN). I'VE ASKED MY DEALER TO LOOK INTO IT. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THIS PROBLEM. THERE IS A FORUM WITH 23 PAGES OF THREADS ON THIS TOPIC. MY 2011 DIAVEL CONTINUES TO STALL INTERMITTENTLY, ALWAYS WHILE DEPRESSING THE CLUTCH LEVER AS I INTENT TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP (CLOSED THROTTLE). PRESENTLY MY MOTORCYCLE HAS 9562 MILES, IS 9 MONTHS OLD. OVER THIS PERIOD OF TIME THIS PROBLEMS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 20 TO 30 TIMES (2 TO 3 TIMES PER MONTH). I HAVE WRITTEN TO DUCATI CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUT DID NOT RECEIVE ANY REPLY.
