FIRST, THE RV HAS AN ELECTRICAL SIDE STEP TO ENTER THE COACH. TWO SPOT WELDS HOLDING UP THE 200 LBS PLUS STEP CAME APART AND WAS HELD ONLY BY THE OTHER SIDE WHICH WAS HELD ALSO BY TWO SPOT WELDS. THE STEP IS INSTALLED IN FRONT OF THE DUAL REAR TIRES. IF THE STEP HAD COME OFF IT WOULD HAVE DAMAGED THE REAR TIRES AND ALSO MAY HAVE CAUSED DAMAGE OR AN ACCIDENT BY A VEHICLE TRAVELING BEHIND THE RV. SOLUTION WOULD BE TO BOLT THE STEP ON OR WELD THE ATTACHMENT PLATE USING MORE THAN JUST TWO SPOT WELDS.SINCE THERE WAS NO WAY TO BOLT THE STEP TO THE RV…
