DT: THE CONSUMER STATED 2002 SUN VALLEY INC. ROAD RUNNER 180 CAMPING TRAILER HAD EXPERIENCED 4 DIFFERENT BRAKES LINE FAILURES. THE LINES HAVE PHYSICALLY BROKEN OFF. THIS WAS ON BRAKING ON THE INSIDE OF THE WHEEL WHERE THE BRAKE LINE WENT INTO THE CYLINDER ON THE WHEEL. WHEN THE OWNER WAS APPLYING THE BRAKES THERE WERE NO BRAKES BECAUSE OF THE FLUID LEAKING OUT. THE OWNER WAS ALMOST IN AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE THE BRAKE LINE BROKE AGAIN. VEHICLE SWERVED INTO THE OTHER LANE TRYING TO SLOW DOWN AND STOP, AND LANDED IN THE MEDIAN. BUT, THERE WERE…

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 COACHMEN AURORA. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH AND APPLYING THE BRAKES, THEY BEGAN TO OVERHEAT AND THERE WAS A STRONG BURNING ODOR. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE BRAKE CALIPERS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED FOR NHTSA RECALL # 04V518000 AT 5,500 MILES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,700 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 18,000.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHORTED OUT DURING TRAVEL DUE TO FAULTY PLUMBING WHICH LEAKED WATER TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHORTING IT OUT CAUSING CIRCUIT BREAKERS TO TRIP AND SHUTTING DOWN THE BATTERY DISCONNECT CIRCUITRY. THIS ALSO CAUSED GREY WATER TO LEAK ALL OVER THE FREEWAY. *TR
