WHILE DRIVING DOWN A BACK ROAD TOWARDS MY HOME ON DECEMBER 18, 2010, THE TRANSMISSION SUDDENLY SLIPPED INTO A LOWER GEAR, ALTHOUGH THE SHIFT WAS STILL IN DRIVE/OVERDRIVE. I COULD HEAR THE ENGINE STRAINING. MY CAR HAS "AUTOSTICK," SO I TRIED CHANGING GEARS WITH THAT. WHEN IN AUTOSTICK, 2ND GEAR WAS DISPLAYED ON MY DASHBOARD. NOTHING I DID WOULD CHANGE THE GEAR. MY AUTOSTICK WOULDN'T WORK, SO I SHIFTED BACK INTO REGULAR DRIVE. I CONTINUED TO DRIVE IN 2ND GEAR, AND EVENTUALLY I FELT THE ENGINE EASE UP, AND IT SEEMED FINE AGAIN. I HAVE NOT …
