8-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 'BUCKS' AND 'CLUNKS' DURING ACCELERATION OR DURING UP SHIFTING. IT DOES THIS EITHER IN FULL AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL SHIFTING MODE.

Owner report 11431838 · 2021-09-06 (September 6, 2021)
Prior to warranty expiration I took my car to be checked for vibration at highway speed. McMulkin Chevrolet NH told me they had to change the fluid in the transmission. This did nothing for the problem. During this time the drivers side tires would lose tire pressure faster than what is acceptable. At no time did the dealer mention the wheel cracking and warping problem experienced by this model vehicle. A year later I am experiencing excessive air leakage on three wheels. Upon further inspection I have found that the three tires have stress …

TWO BRAKE ROTORS ON 2018 CORVETTE GRAND SPORT HAVE PERMANENT RUST BANDS THAT DO NOT WEAR OFF UNDER BRAKING. THEY ARE SCORING AND GROOVING THE BRAKE PADS INSTEAD. GM BLAMES THE DEALER FOR POOR MAINTENANCE BUT NEITHER WILL REPLACE BECAUSE THEY SAY IT'S ONLY 'COSMETIC' ACCORDING TO THEM. THEY DID ADVISE ME TO REPLACE THE ROTORS MYSELF AT A COST OF $4000 ON A BRAND NEW CAR! IT HAS HAD THE BAND SINCE DAY 1! WHEN THE CAR IS WASHED OR THE ROTOR GETS WET IT FUSES TO THE PADS AND LOCKS THE WHEEL. YOU HAVE TO ROCK THE CAR GET IT TO BREAK LOOSE. THEY K…

Owner report 11172195 · 2019-01-25 (January 25, 2019)
THE BRAKES HAVE NOW FOUR TIMES FAILED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. WHEN PRESSED THEY GET HARD, THEN GO DOWN TO THE FLOOR AND THERE'S A PULSATING FEELING. THE VEHICLE JUST CONTINUES TO GO TO THE FLOOR. ON THE THIRD OCCASION THAT IT HAPPENED, THE VEHICLE IN A NON-EMERGENCY SITUATION, WOULD NOT STOP IN TRAFFIC AND REAR-ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. IT IS DANGEROUS AND GM IS NO HELP.

Owner report 11164516 · 2019-01-02 (January 2, 2019)
WHILE TRAVELING ALONG 240 IN MEMPHIS,TN I HIT AN UNLEVEL PIECE OF PAVEMENT. MY SPEED WAS MAYBE 45 MPH. WHILE THE CAR WAS AT THE DEALER THEY SAID THAT I HAD 4 BEND RIMS. UPON INSPECTION OF THE WHEELS EACH WHEEL HAD BEEN BENT ON THE INSIDE OF THE RIMS. THIS WAS CAUSING THE CAR TO DRIVE POORLY AND CAUSE THE STEERING WHEEL TO VIBRATE.

Owner report 11229740 · 2019-07-06 (July 6, 2019)
I ATTENDED A TWO-DAY NCM TRACK EVENT AT VIR IN JUNE 2019. DURING THE SECOND SESSION ON DAY TWO MY 2018 Z06 HAD A POWER STEERING ISSUE. WITHOUT ANY WARNING, I FELT AND HEARD A LOUD THUMP THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL AS I APPROACHED TURN 3 FROM NO-NAME, I HAD VERY LITTLE STEERING ABILITY THAT REQUIRED HEAVY HANDED INPUT ON THE STEERING WHEEL CAUSING ME TO LIFT AND BRAKE TO KEEP THE CAR FROM RUNNING OFF THE TRACK. THEN I RECEIVED A DIC MESSAGE ON THE DASH TO 'SERVICE POWER STEERING GEAR.' I COME IN TO LET THE CAR COOL DOWN AND WENT BACK OUT LATER WI…
