TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1992 CHEVROLET CAMARO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SHIFT CABLE FAILED AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO REMAIN STUCK IN PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY. HE COULD MOVE THE GEAR SHIFTER, BUT THE VEHICLE WOULD STILL REMAIN IN PARK. HE CALLED THE DEALER AND A REPRESENTATIVE STATED THAT HIS VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 92V154000 (POWER TRAIN: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION), ALTHOUGH THE FAILURES WERE IDENTICAL.
