2019 CADILLAC XT-4 [XXX] MILEAGE IN FIRST SERVICE ATTEMPT 27500 4/28/2023 BROUGHT THE XT-4 IN FOR SERVICE IN WILLIAMSBURG VIRGINIA AND FOR AN OIL DRIP PROBLEM. OIL LEAKING DOWN THE SIDE OF THE MOTOR FACING THE PASSENGER SIDE. DEALER REPLACED NUMEROUOS GASKETS AND ENGINE COVERS AND RETURNED THE VEHICLE ALONG WITH THE SERVICE AND STATE INSPECTION WORK. REPAIRS MADE UNDER POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. ENGINE CONTINUED TO LEAK AND WAS BROUGHT BACK INTO THE DEALERSHIP 05/02/2023. DEALER SAID THAT THE OIL PAN WAS CRACKED AND THEY REPLACED IT UNDER POWERTRAI…

The contact owns a 2020 Cadillac XT4. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, she heard an abnormal popping sound coming from an unknown location. Additionally, there was a screeching sound coming from the brakes. No warning lights were illuminated. I have a 2020 cadillac xt4. When I first purchased the car in 2021, it already needed a new battery. Since owning the vehicle, I've had to change the battery two times already with 3 years. When I go to start the car (push start) sometimes the car wouldn't turn over or turn on and my dash board would illuminate stating service stabilitrak. Sometimes it would take like 5-8 tries before the car turned on.
