CONSUMER COMPLAINT REGARDING 1993 CADILLAC DEVILLE WHICH WAS REPAIRED WITH 9 DEFECTIVE BRAKE PART BY MECHANIC. *KB AFTER BRAKE REPAIR WERE MADE THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE SHOOK SEVERELY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CADILLAC AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT MIDAS USED DEFECTIVE PARTS. THE CONSUMER CLAIMS THE MIDAS BUYS FOREIGN PARTS THAT ARE DEFECTIVE AND NOT TEST OR APPROVED BY AN OUTSIDE SOURCE. THE CONSUMER HAD THE DEFECTIVE BRAKE PARTS IN HIS POSSESSION. PURCHASED 2003 CADILLAC DHS FROM COAST CADILLAC, THE NEXT MONTH WE HAD TO GET A NEW ENGINE FROM RANCHO MOTORS. LESS THAN A YEAR AFTER THAT WE HAD TO GET A NEW COMPUTER. MY HUSBAND HAD A CAR ACCIDENT ON JULY 4, 2009 WHERE HE HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE, AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. AAA ADJUSTER CAME TO DIAMOND CAR COLLISION IN HESPERIA AND STATED THE CAR WAS NOT TOTALED. MY NAME IS ANNE AVIS. I AM REPORTING THIS DEFECT FOR AN ELDERLY FRIEND WHO PURCHASED THE CAR IN QUESTION. SHE HAS HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY 8 TIMES. THE CAR WAS A DEMO WITH 6,444 SHE NOW HAS 16,000.
