The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the transmission was shifting hard. The dealer was contacted. CAR WAS ACQUIRED IN FEBRUARY AND SCRAPING NOISE IN FRONT BRAKES WAS NOTICED IN MAY. WAITED TO SEE IF THE NOISE WOULD GO AWAY BY ITSELF BUT BECAME LOUDER AND TOOK TO CADILLAC DEALER, MILLER CADILLAC IN ELLICOTT CITY MD TELEPHONE [phone removed] ON JULY 30. I WAS TOLD THE MECHANIC COULD HEAR THE NOISE BUT COULD NOT IDENTIFY THE SOURCE. HE CALLED GM AND THEY TOLD HIM THERE WAS TECH BULLETIN #PIC6290C INSTRUCTING THE MECHANIC TO TELL CUSTOMER THE NOISE IS NORMAL DOES NOT AFFECT SAFETY OR RELIABILITY OF THE CAR BUT WOULD NOT TELL THE MECHANIC THE CA…

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2020 CADILLAC CT6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THERE WAS A LOUD SCREECHING SOUND COMING FROM THE WHEELS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO WOODLAND CADILLAC LOCATED AT 530 QUALITY CIR #101, WOODLAND, CA 95776, TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FRONT RADIAL ARMS WERE FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE RADIAL ARMS WERE REPLACED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED.
