Owner report 11144689 · 2018-11-01 (November 1, 2018)
CAR WILL NOT RESPOND FOR AT LEAST 2 SECONDS DURING A SLOW, ROLLING STOP, WHEN TRYING TO ACCELERATE AGAIN. UNABLE TO PERFORM EVASIVE MANUEVER, IF NEEDED, SECONDARY TO THE DELAY TO ACCELERATOR INPUT. HARSH 2-1 DOWNSHIFTS ALSO AT SLOW SPEEDS AND CAN EVEN FEEL AS THOUGH YOU WERE STRUCK FROM BEHIND. HIGHWAY DRIVING IS EXCELLENT; CITY DRIVING CHALLENGING WITH THE TRANSMISSION. THE DRIVER HAS TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE. FIND IT VERY UNUSUAL AFTER OWNING 5 OTHER CADILLACS AND NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM. I BOUGHT THIS CAR AS A PRE-OWNED CERTIFIED V…

I am experiencing recurring transmission and drivability issues with my 2016 Cadillac CT6. 1.Rough Shifting: When shifting from park to reverse, the transmission shifts roughly, causing a noticeable jolt throughout the vehicle. 2.Fluid Leakage: I have observed fluid leaking from underneath the car when parked in my driveway. However, the leak is inconsistent, it disappears for a few days after rain or washing my driveway but then reappears under similar conditions. 3.Delayed Shifting: When accelerating from a stoplight, there is a delay before t…

Owner report 11755393 · 2026-08-07 (August 7, 2026)
During refueling the gas station pumping nozzle would shut off indicating a full gasoline fuel tank; but, the dash board fuel gage indicated the fuel was not full. Had to dribble in fuel to fill. Dealer Mechanic found: Crash roll over gasoline vent safety valve was stuck in the crashed roll over cut off state. No gas tank ventilation. This caused back pressure in car gasoline tank to shut off gas station filler nozzle as though the car was full . Entire gas tank had to be replaced. Still under warranty.
