ON DECEMBER 21ST 2019, THE BREAKS ON OUR BRAND NEW 2019 X7 BMW COMPLETELY GAVE OUT WHILE MY HUSBAND AND I AND THREE MINOR CHILDREN WERE TRAVELING ABOUT 70 MPH ON NY INTERSTATE 87. ALL THE LIGHTS STARTED BLINKING INSIDE THE VEHICLE AND IT KEPT DRIVING COMPLETELY WITHOUT OUR ABILITY TO STOP IT. SINCE THAT DATE, FOR OVER 40+ DAYS THE CAR HAS BEEN WITH BMW FOR REPAIR WITH NO COMMUNICATION FROM CORPORATE ON THE CAUSE JUST A CONFIRMATION THAT THE BRAKES INDEED WENT OUT. October 10, 2024, I was pulling out of my job’s parking lot when I was attempting to brake before pulling out into traffic on the Main Street. My vehicle would not stop despite my having the brakes to the floor. I was almost in traffic before the brakes started to work. On October 18, 2024, I experienced the same problem when I was pulling out of a gas station and tried to stop before pulling into traffic on the main road. I was driving on a 3 lane road during the day with no cars near me with my hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road when the car applied the emergency braking and came to a complete stop. Thankfully no one was behind me. This was the second time it happened in a two week span.

ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17TH, AROUND 7PM ET, I PARKED IN FRONT OF A BUILDING COMPLEX. THE CAR WAS IN PARKING MOD WITH ENGINE ON. I WAS TALKING TO MY BROTHER IN LAW IN THE CAR WHEN WITHIN 4-5 MIN FROM THE TIME OF THE CAR WAS IN FULL STOP, WE HEARD THE ENGINE ROARING LOUDER AND LOUDER AND THE CAR ACCELERATED WITH TREMENDOUS SPEED TOWARDS THE BUILDING (PARKING SPOT IS AROUND 20 FEET FROM THE BUILDING).
