The contact owns a 2015 BMW 650I. The contact stated that while the vehicle was at a red light, the vehicle accelerated and then lost motive power. There was no warning prior to the failure; however, the engine light illuminated immediately after the vehicle stalled, and the contact was able to coast to safety. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the engine had seized. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
