The contact owns a 2021 BMW 430I Convertible. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH, the electrical system suddenly failed, and all the instrument panel lights turned black. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact veered to the side of the road and restarted the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that an unknown software had failed. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired however, the failure reoccurred while driving. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.…

The contact owns a 2021 BMW 430I. The contact had received a recall letter from the manufacturer for NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V636000 (Electrical System). The contact called the local dealer and was informed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
