The contact stated while driving 30 MPH, after activating the A/C unit, the contact heard an abnormal rattling sound coming from the vents, and the A/C unit failed to blow cold. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the water pump and the oil filter housing gasket were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired.
