BMW SAID THEY REPLACED AND FIXED THE AIR BAG ISSUE AND BATTERY CABLE (POSITIVE) RECALL. IT'S BEEN OVER 2 WEEKS AND I JUST SEARCHED ON SAFERCAR.GOV AND THEY BOTH STILL SHOW AS OPEN ISSUES. DID BMW LIE?

Fuel injectors and high pressure fuel pump. I believe there was a recall for the 335i model not the 335xi. These are the same exact engines and were produced at the same exact time with the same exact parts. BMW created index 1 injectors and has since remanufactured to what today is now called an index 12 injector. I believe my model is well over due to qualify for this recall because old injectors can cause a fire WHILE DRIVING. DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN BECAUSE IT REMAINED LOCKED. IT COULD NOT BE UNLOCKED USING THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE, THE KEY FOB UNLOCK BUTTON, OR THE DOOR LOCK SWITCH ON THE FRONT DASH. I HAD TO PHYSICALLY INSERT AND TURN THE KEY FROM THE OUTSIDE TO UNLOCK THE CAR. I UNDERSTAND THIS MAY BE A FUSE OR A DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR PROBLEM. IT IS AN ENORMOUS SAFETY ISSUE IF I CANNOT GET OUT OF MY CAR BECAUSE OF AN ELECTRICAL FAILURE. *TR
