TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 BMW 335. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V676000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

CAR CAUGHT FIRE PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY. BATTERY CHARGER WAS CONNECTED. UNKNOWN CAUSE OF WHAT STARTED THE FIRE. CAR HAD APPROXIMATELY 152,000 MILES. ASSOCIATION TO RECALL 17V676000.

HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP & VACUUM LINES TANK 1 & 2 FAILURES. TURBOCHARGER & WASTE GATE FAILURE AS WELL, FUEL SENDING UNITS DEVELOPED HAIRLINE FRACTURES THAT CAUSE FUEL TO LEAK ON EXHAUST MANIFOLD LIKELY TO CASE A FIRE WAS TOLD NOT TO DRIVE CAR LUCKILY THE MECHANIC NOTICE THE LEAKAGE. NO MORE NEED TO TO SAY, YOU GUYS ARE AWARE OF THIS DO SOME ABOUT IT PLEASE! I NEVER PURCHASE A BMW EVER AGAIN!
