I'VE NOW EXPERIENCED A BRAKE FAILURE TWICE WHEN THE TEMPERATURES ARE BELOW OR NEAR FREEZING. I'VE STARTED THE CAR AND STARTED DRIVING. THE FIRST INCIDENT HAPPENED ABOUT 10 FEET INTO THE DRIVE. WHEN APPLIED THE BRAKES GOT LITTLE TO NO BRAKE POWER CAUSING THE CAR TO ROLL EVENTUALLY COMING A STOP AFTER TRAVELING ABOUT 10 FEET WITH THE BREAKS FULLY APPLIED. THE SECOND INCIDENT, I DROVE FOR ABOUT 100 FEET AND WHEN APPLIED THE BRAKES GOT ALMOST NO BRAKING POWER AGAIN CAUSING THE CAR TO TRAVEL AT LEAST 20-30 FEET BEFORE STOPPING. IN BOTH CASES:…

THIS IS MY WIFE'S CAR AND ALTHOUGH ITS A 2011 IT ONLY HAS ABOUT 60,000 MILES. RECENTLY WE WERE DRIVING DOWN AN INTERSTATE (WITH OUR TWO CHILDREN) AND THE "CHECK POWER STEERING" MESSAGE CAME ON THE DIGITAL DISPLAY, AND RIGHT AFTER THAT THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN/LOCKED UP. WE PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY AT THE NEXT EXIT AND TURNED THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTED IT, AS IT SUGGESTED - AND IT FIXED IT TEMPORARILY.
