Owner report 11066559 · 2018-02-01 (February 1, 2018)
THIS IS MY WIFE'S CAR AND ALTHOUGH ITS A 2011 IT ONLY HAS ABOUT 60,000 MILES. RECENTLY WE WERE DRIVING DOWN AN INTERSTATE (WITH OUR TWO CHILDREN) AND THE "CHECK POWER STEERING" MESSAGE CAME ON THE DIGITAL DISPLAY, AND RIGHT AFTER THAT THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN/LOCKED UP. WE PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY AT THE NEXT EXIT AND TURNED THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTED IT, AS IT SUGGESTED - AND IT FIXED IT TEMPORARILY. BUT IT DID THE SAME THING TWO MORE TIMES ON SECONDARY ROADS AS WE LIMPED THE CAR HOME. LUCKILY WE WERENT FAR AWAY. HER MECHANIC…

Owner report 10455306 · 2012-04-15 (April 15, 2012)
STEERING VIBRATES FROM 45 TO 75MPH, DEALER HAS TEST DROVE AND ALSO FELT THE VIBRATION, AND TOLD THAT IS THE TSX WAGON CHARACTISTIC, AND REFUSED TO DO A FURTHER DIAGNOSE. 2 WHEEL ALIGNMENT FOR THE 1ST 2 WEEKS OF OWNERSHIP THEN 2 ROAD FORCE TIRE BALANCED AND STILL DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM, THIS IS ALL HAPPENED IN 4 WEEKS. THE STEERING VIBRATION COULD CAUSE BY BAD MOTOR MOUNT, TRANSMISSION MOUNT, AXELS, BAD SUSPENSION COMPONENTS, BAD ROTORS. NEW CAR SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY STEERING VIBRATION, SPECIALLY ON HIGHWAY SPEED. *TR

Owner report 10943925 · 2017-01-09 (January 9, 2017)
I'VE NOW EXPERIENCED A BRAKE FAILURE TWICE WHEN THE TEMPERATURES ARE BELOW OR NEAR FREEZING. I'VE STARTED THE CAR AND STARTED DRIVING. THE FIRST INCIDENT HAPPENED ABOUT 10 FEET INTO THE DRIVE. WHEN APPLIED THE BRAKES GOT LITTLE TO NO BRAKE POWER CAUSING THE CAR TO ROLL EVENTUALLY COMING A STOP AFTER TRAVELING ABOUT 10 FEET WITH THE BREAKS FULLY APPLIED. THE SECOND INCIDENT, I DROVE FOR ABOUT 100 FEET AND WHEN APPLIED THE BRAKES GOT ALMOST NO BRAKING POWER AGAIN CAUSING THE CAR TO TRAVEL AT LEAST 20-30 FEET BEFORE STOPPING. IN BOTH CASES:…

Owner report 10443613 · 2012-01-12 (January 12, 2012)
WHEN ACCELERATING FROM STOP LIGHT AND THE CAR IN FRONT SLOWS DOWN, I LET OFF OF ACCELERATOR, THEN PRESS DOWN ON ACCELERATOR AGAIN WHEN APPROPRIATE, THE CAR STALLS AND THEN LEAPS FORWARD. THIS CAUSES AN IMMEDIATE PROBLEM AND THE BRAKES HAVE TO BE APPLIED OR THE CAR IN FRONT GETS REAR ENDED. THE ACURA DEALER TELLS ME THAT THEY HAVE HAD NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS, BUT, THEY CAN'T FIX THE PROBLEM BECAUSE ACURA WON'T FIX IT. *TR
