TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 YAMAHA ZUMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSE THAT AN ELECTRIC PLUG HAD BECOME LOOSE. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT 1,700 MILES LATER THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 358 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 2,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

ZUMA 125 STALLED AT A RED LIGHT IN A LEFT TURN LANE WITH THREE LANES ON EITHER SIDE OF ME, PUTTING ME IN A DANGEROUS POSITION. AT THE TIME I HAD ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION AND DID NOT TRY TO RIDE IT AGAIN TILL THE FALL. ALL THROUGH WINTER AND SPRING I WENT WITHOUT PROBLEMS, BUT AGAIN THIS MAY IT STARTED TO ACT UP. IT WOULD NOT START IF PARKED IN THE SUN, AND WOULD OFTEN STALL IF IDLING AT A LIGHT, AFTER WHICH IT WOULD NOT START (OFTEN LEAVING ME IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC). I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP BUT THEY COULD NOT RECREATE THIS PROBLEM …
